PUC PREVIEW by Lars von Thienen
-------------------------------

My work is mainly based on cycles and I will present a complete new discovery on the PUC. I have discovered a way to decode space weather conditions and the link to human mood. I call the points of interest "Major Geomagnetic Reversal Dates (MGR)".

The link between space weather and human mood/behaviour is well reserached in medical studies. But up to now - no one was able to find a way how to use raw space weather information data to find readable information for trading purposes. The result came up because I was able to attach some of my cycle tools to space weather data.

I have researched this back to 1932 and all "major geomagnetic reversal dates" correlate with major turning points in the market. See the long term chart where all MGR dates are highlighted. Keep in mind that these MGR points have been identified with data that has nothing to do with price data.

Additionally to the knowledge how to decode the raw space weather for this purpose – I have coded a special DLL and a complete new Wave59 indicator to plot this decoded space weather data directly on the chart for daily trading strategies on the SPX or DJI.

This is really something new that is not available anywhere. And it is drilled down into a concrete trading strategy with a new indicator for Wave59.

I will reveal on the PUC
- the complete knowledge and background
- the method how to decode the data
- the backtesting results back to 1932 and the actual count
- the new Wave59 Indicator to simply plot this information on a daily chart
- the DLL and Qscripts you need to do this on your own

I decided to publish this private discovery now on the PUC.

See you there!
Lars

Follow up:

It is possible to SCALE DOWN the space weather information  - see here a close up view of the MGR dates from the new indicator on a daily chart:

Aaaah - another conference....

The drumbeat gets louder and louder - the excitement grows and grows.

This makes it really hard to maintain my Zen state of mind  -  I better sing along TfF;

On the other hand I am already wondering what kind of goodies the next conference "The Final(??!) One LV 2012" will offer

Lars:

I have been studying those NASA charts for months. I knew there was a direct correlation.

Thank you so much for proving all of us AstroPhysics believers right.

Just google for this one

Berg's Scalper System

To scalp successfully the system must generate more winners than losers (including commissions) with average losses no more than the average gains.  I've developed a system which does just that.  You can trade with margin of only $1,000 to $1,500 per contract since drawdowns are very low.

It uses a common technical indicator, very simple to apply.

The average daily net gain, including commissions, is +2.7 points.

Microsoft Excel Chart

Below see the cumulative net gain, including commissions, from May 3 to August 13, +$270,000 taking +1 on each trade.  This is starting with only $1,000.

Microsoft Excel Chart

If you want to trade conservatively you can still make great money.  Below is the result starting with $1,000 and always trading just one contract.

Very steady gains with very, very low drawdown.

Microsoft Excel Chart

The Berg Scalper System is available for $1,050.

I did talk to only one of his users and he told me the same story as usual

 Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future performance. Profitable results are not guaranteed and returns are not accepted.

Anyhow, the following was written 111 years ago

When I heard the learn'd astronomer;

When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me;

When I was shown the charts and the diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them;

When I, sitting, heard the astronomer, where he lectured with much applause in the lecture room,

How soon, unaccountable, I became tired and sick;

Till rising and gliding out, I wander'd off by myself,

In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,

Look'd up in perfect silence at the stars.

    Hi Lars,

    Congratulations on your discovery. I have been doing R&D in this field now for about a year with some truly astounding results. I feel it is an area that has been overlooked by the astro technical community and one that holds immense promise.

    Continued success in all your endeavors,

    Joe

Also, just a reminder for everyone; prices go up by $200 after Jan 31.  Even if you can't attend, you can sign up now and receive the DVD/Presentation binder, with all scripts, materials etc, for the discounted attendee rate which is much cheaper than it will be after the conference (or even a week from now).

Cheers

Hi Lars:

I'm really looking forward to your presentation in Vegas.

In fact I can't wait,  , so here goes;

Is your Lvt Geo Indicator plot a forecaster?

Is there any MGR dates looming between now and the March 25th presentation?

Sorry, but curiosity got the better of me and had to ask.

Also, just want to thank you and Earik for the opportunity to help fund/purchase both of your ongoing brilliant research and development projects.  It is extremely motivating for the opportunity to be even a small particpant in what this community is doing!

Hi Maximus,

all I want to say for the moment is that it is an alogrithm how to decode space weather information for the usage in financial markets. In the end, it is all based on human emotions. The rest will be revealed on the PUC .... I hope you can withstand the tension for the moment..;-)

As you may know, I am also an engineer - so I am interested in the physics behind it... If you want to watch some great animations on space weather, watch this movie:

Not about the financial market - but gives you some great pictures on what is happening out there...

Regards,
Lars

Two protons were sitting in the corner. One turns to the other and says, “Hey, that neutron got a free beer!”
The other replies, “Are you positive?!”

Guys,

There is a bar near the CBOT/CBOE called Catus. They have a line of tee shirts that feature slogans dealing with the perils of non sober trading. At Holiday time I will know what to consider for this crowd.  The dynamic here is similar to a trading crowd.

Well, as you can see from my avatar, when someone talks about my nucleus, I must come back atom.

One proton walks into a bar and sits next to his buddy, seeming a little peeved

the first proton says “Hey, whats the matter?” hoping to comfort his problemed friend

the second one growls “I’ve had a bad day and your just making it worse” and orders a scotch

the first says “Well jeez, you don’t have to be so negative”

Free puns at no extra charge.

An electron says to a neutrino, "I really like you, but I just can't get a reaction out of you." She replies, "Aww, don't be so negative."

Ok, the weekend is over - back to our daily business. To sum the discussion up and come back to facts:

Yes, charged particels play a major role regarding space weather and the influence on human mood ;-)

PUC PREVIEW by Dave Jeffrey

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Whether in an astrological reading, stock chart analysis, or really any endeavor in life, one maximally benefits from having a key grasp of the fundamentals. Once these are thoroughly developed and become natural, it frees the mind to go after the smaller details and really hone one's craft and fine tune one's path.

I have developed some thought processes in chart study that should be helpful for others when searching for trades. And I've been successful in implementing these in my own trading for quite a while now. I certainly have material I think you will dig and can help in identifying solid trade opportunities. I will be presenting a set of strategies combining technical chart work alongside astrological analysis, to repeatedly find high-probability buy and sell trade setups. I will primarily show stock charts in my talk but will likely add some ES futures too.

As a brief example, please see below:

I've followed and traded this symbol since last summer when it popped up in a stock search. In September, I
noted a strong potential astro buy setup developing. At this point, we must look at the chart to evaluate technically and search for entries. You can see in this chart that September established higher lows at the same time that a powerful astro setup was beginning to lock in SMSI. There was yet another key factor (not shown) that indicated this low was a solid one from which to seriously consider longs. We then evaluate for a technically sound entry.

When price cleared the green line, a buy entry was taken with a ideal target at 12.15. As you can see, this was met much faster than expected, but hey, we take our profit!
So now we simply wait and keep an eye on the chart over the next weeks, because the particular astro setup was anticipated to stay intense and maintain influence through approx. Jan 10-15. We can watch and reevaluate for possible new pullback buy entries.

Wow, the powerful move continues. Ok now we need to reevaluate. Let's take a longer timeframe.

Hmm, that seemed to stop the rally for now. We're not looking for shorts, however, only key pullbacks to reenter long up until early January to try and catch this high-octane astrojuice. Let's keep watching, as a gap fill would be a logical reentry...

Well that gap fill never came. So we stay disciplined and know that we got our 1 good trade. Now we shift our attention to watching for resolution of the astro influence that's anticipated in January. What sort of targets might we be looking for at this point?

The levels above seem logical, especially that nice overlap just below 17.00. Of course, price may start to weaken before this window, or stay a bit after. If price continues to power through this, we'll just have to see and adjust accordingly.

That certainly seems to be strong resistance for now. And with the ++ astro influence nearing its climax, while simulatenously, a new -- influencing entering the stage, not to mention the conclusion of such a dramatic up move, this might be an interesting short-side play coming up...

And this bring us to the current chart. Now this is certainly a strong case. Not every stock is so dramatic. But there are absolutely lots of stocks every week that respond strongly to particular planetary energies.When these symbols are noted, and combined with rational technical study, entry and targeted profit exits, good results can be obtained.
